At the old folks home on Rt 92
On Sat nite here's what they always do
They rock around the clock all nite
Rock, rock, rock in the pale moonlight
Everybody does the wheelchair rock..
Now the clock strikes one
And the fun has just begun
There's good old Alex Walker doin his number one
He twists and turns to loud applause
The crowd goes wild cause he's wrapped in gauze
He's the hit of the block
Doin the wheelchair rock..
Now the clock strikes two, what is she trying to do?
It's Miss Kitty in her chair doing the boog - a - loo
As she whirls around the floor with ease
All the joint is jumpin cause she sure does please
On our hearts she has a lock
Just doin the wheelchair rock..
Now the clock strikes three
Who is it going to be?
It's Miss Janice and she's starting to do her Peeky-Boo
The guys go wild and they stomp the floor
Everybody's screaming just one more encore
And she smiles at the clock
While she's doin the wheelchair rock..
Now the clock strikes four
But there ain't no more
Brother Ralph passed away and he's out the door
But he was good to the end - a fine old sock
He died doin the wheelchair rock..
