France

France is a big country full of people who tend not speak English. To get around France it's best to know how to speak the French language. In case you do not know French, learning these key phrases will make the difference between a mediocre and a wonderful stay in France. Imagine... visiting a country and being the star…. Kind'a like Mary Poppins … little children will skip and dance with you because you know what to say, how to say it, and when to say these key phrases. Because, lets face it, people judge you by your ability to communicate. (Or in my lovely wife's case, a dazzling smile, good looks, and a wonderful personality, but in my case it's communication.)

A set of phrases will be presented, under each phrase is the French translation. Under each translation is a pronunciation.

English: I would like coffee
French: Je voudrais café
Pronunciation: Je voudrais café

English: I want to buy coffee.

English: It's over there on the left

English: How much is it?
French: C'est Combien?
Pronunciation: C'est Combien?

English: Two coffees please
French: Deux café's, s'il vous Plait

English: Excuse Me

English: What is the way to the coffee shop
