The Cross-Caffeinated SyndromeThe Cross-Caffeinated Syndrome (CCS) is an effect on the body which occurs when switching from a good brand of coffee to a not good brand of coffee in to short a period of time between cups of coffee. The body exhibits signs of exhaustion and minor headaches, you know you're victim of a bad cup of coffee. The first recognized and therefore documented occurance of the CCS occurred on 7/24/97 where myself and a fellow employee (Ian Leff) dipped into a can of Folgers that had been in the refridgerator for several months. We did this because we ran out of the good stuff (a wymsical Little River Inn blend manufactured by Big River Coffee Roasters in Santa Rosa, CA) and decided .. what the hell, whats the worse that could happen? It's only Folders. And to tell the truth, there was was no gun fire from the top of the building, nor was the company closed for a few days but all the victims of CCS learned a harse lesson. This is not an old wives tale, nor is it an urban legend but this is an an actual fact! Be careful! Page created by: Mark@TheCoffeePlace.Com Back to The Coffee Place - Home Page |
